This game is for SIGGD Purdue 48h gamjam "Chains", we think of chain as a bridge or connection. By extending the concepts, the "chain" in our game represents the rhythmic connection between music and action, where every link brings players closer to mastering the melody.

Game Features:

- Player need to planning the timing of catching the record in terms of music.

- When the color of the record aligns with player, then you win points!

- Be careful, the color will change by the beats of music in pattern.

Design Background:

The whole Chain Groove idea sparked when we mashed together two things - music and chains! When we really broke down what makes a chain interesting, it led us to this cool mechanic where players move records around like links in a chain. It's kind of wild how a simple word like "chain" turned into this whole record-catching gameplay system. Looking at it now, I'm pretty proud of how unique it feels - it really shows off our style as designers and how we like to think outside the box.
